The World Headquarters of Rexair, LLC is located in Troy, Michigan, USA. It is from here that the sales, marketing and independent worldwide distribution network of the Rainbow Cleaning System is coordinated and administered.
The Rainbow is manufactured using only premium quality materials in Rexair’s state-of-the-art manufacturing and technology center in Cadillac, Michigan, USA with an ISO 9001:2015 QMS. Significant quality control measures are taken to ensure that each and every Rainbow meets our high standards of durability and performance.
Rainbow comes to the Philippines
Victor Puyat
Vic Puyat and his wife Nenette sees a Demo at their San Francico apartment in 1983 done by Tony Alexander. Together with JV Sanders, both became close friends of Victor. After seeing the Rainbow, he immediately falls in love with it and orders a container load of Rainbows to be sold in the Philippines.
With the encouragement of Tony Alexanders, Vector soon opens several Rainbow Owners in the Philippines. Mr. Puyat's dream is for every home in the Philippines to have a Rainbow...
Model D3 (1980 - 1985)
The new Rainbow D3 was launched in 1980, the first major model change in twenty years. With a new, cooler- running motor, the D3 was the first Rainbow approved for "wet pick-up."
Model D4 (1986 - 1998)
In 1986, Rexair celebrated its Golden Anniversary by launching its newest Rainbow, the D4. J.V. Sanders considered the new Rainbow to be "the best Cleaning System on the face of the earth."
E Series (1998 - 2005)
In 1998, the model "E" was launched. The "E Series" had a HEPA Filter added on to the exhaust, preventing fine
non-wettable dirt from escaping.
Rexair CSD (1999)
The Rexair CSD was designed for Hazardous Materials, specially made for aftermath Professionals, Inc..
CSD stands for Contain, Secure and Destroy.
E2 Gold (2005 - 2007)
In 2005, the world of vacuum cleaners was startled with the launch of the new "ET' series. It made use of the world's first Switched Reluctance Motor in a vacuum cleaner — no carbon brushes, no commutator, no windings on the armature, four field coils and a circuit board that allowed the motor to run at the highest speed of arty Rainbow ever — over 90 inches of water lift.
E2 Silver (2007 - 2011)
The E2 Silver came out In 2007, with very minor differences compared to the E2 Gold. Most changes were purely cosmetic. One notable change was the noise level,
E2i Black (2011 - 2019)
The E2 Black also known as the Illuminate model was the most comprehensive and interesting among the e2 models which carried an 8•year warranty on the motor and the controller. The longest in its category. It is a certified air cleaner, and has earned the most certifications any Rainbow has ever had...
